BidFeed Reference Guide

Overview

BidFeed centralizes bid intelligence from multiple third-party providers into a single, customized platform. Instead of navigating across multiple bid sites, dealing with duplicates, or manually entering information into a CRM, clients can track, monitor, and transfer all bid opportunities from one seamless location.

This guide explains core BidFeed actions, including feedback, CRM sync, exports, columns, saved views, map insights, and keyword search.

Data Refresh Schedule

New data is added to BidFeed every day at 9:00 AM.

Feedback Mechanism

How to Leave Feedback

Open a project modal using View, then select a feedback button in the lower-left corner.

Recommended Feedback Usage
  • Thumbs Up / Like: Use for upcoming bids that are highly relevant and of the highest priority to action.

  • Watch List: Use for bids that may be relevant but need more validation before action.

  • Thumbs Down / Dislike: Use for bids that are not actionable.

    • To hide these quickly, use the Feedback filter and select all options except for Disliked.

Notes
  • The Bid ID column indicates whether feedback has been recorded.

  • You can only see feedback that you recorded.

  • Use the Team Activity Filters section to filter bids based on feedback type.

Sync to CRM

You can sync one or more bids to your CRM.

How to Sync
  1. Select the bids you want to sync.

  2. Click Sync to CRM.

  3. Choose the user assignment.

  4. Click Submit.

  5. Immediately after submission the bids will be labelled as "Queued" for Sync to CRM.

  6. After processing (within an hour), the bids will sync to your CRM and labelled as "Synced".

Notes
  • Sync status is visible to all users.

  • Once a bid is synced, it cannot be synced again by any user.

  • Hover over Queued for Sync to CRM or Synced to CRM to see which user initiated the sync.

  • For field-level mapping details, please contact the Citylitics team.

Export to CSV

To export the currently filtered table data, click Export to CSV. Export includes the columns currently shown in the table.

  • To export the fullest dataset available in BidFeed, first enable all columns in Display Columns, then export.

Display Columns

Use Display Columns to control which fields appear in the table.

  • Add/remove columns using the checkbox beside each field name.

Save Filter View

After applying filters and selecting preferred columns, click Save as Filter View.

What It Does
  1. Saves your current filter + column configuration.

  2. Lets you quickly re-apply it from the Saved Filter dropdown.

  3. Can be set as your default view so it loads automatically when BidFeed opens.

Notes
  • Saved filter views are user-specific.

  • To share a saved view with another user, contact the Citylitics team.

  • If no default saved view is set, BidFeed defaults to bids created in the last 14 days.

Geo Map

The geo map shows project concentration across North America (state/province/territory).

  • Darker green indicates a higher quantity of bids.

Keyword Search

Use Keyword Search to scan project title and description fields. Matching terms are bolded in the title/description. If multiple keywords are entered, bids are returned when any keyword matches (OR logic).
