Ensuring Delivery of Citylitics Insight Emails

To make sure you receive project insights and updates from Citylitics to your email inbox, please follow these instructions. This process is a quick, one-time step designed to ensure our communications are delivered directly to your Inbox, bypassing Junk or Promotions folders.

To make sure you receive project insights and updates from Citylitics to your email inbox, please follow these instructions to add our email address and domain to your safe sender list. This process is a quick, one-time step designed to ensure our communications are delivered directly to your Inbox, bypassing Junk or Promotions folders.

Step 1: Add Citylitics to Your Contacts

Add insights@citylitics.com as a new contact in your email system with the following details:

  • Name: Citylitics Insights
  • Email: insights@citylitics.com
  • Domain: citylitics.com

Step 2: Move Any Misplaced Emails to Your Inbox


If Citylitics emails are found in your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folder, please take the following actions:

  1. Open the email.
  2. Click "Not Spam" or "Move to Inbox."

Microsoft Outlook

  • Outlook Desktop App
    • Open the Home tab and navigate to Junk, then select Junk Email Options.
    • Go to the Safe Senders tab.
    • Click Add, then enter @citylitics.com.
    • Click OK, then Apply.
  • Outlook Web (Outlook.com / Microsoft 365)
    • Click the Settings icon and select View all Outlook settings.
    • Go to Mail, then Junk email.
    • Under Safe senders and domains, click Add, then type citylitics.com.
    • Click Save.

Gmail

  • Gmail (Web Browser)
    • Open an email from Citylitics Or search for emails from insights@citylitics.com or @citylitics.com
    • Hover over the sender name ("Citylitics Insights") and click "Add to Contacts."
    • If the email appears in Promotions, drag the message to the Primary tab. Gmail will prompt you: "Do this for future messages from insights@citylitics.com?" — Click Yes.
  • Gmail (Mobile App)
    • Tap the sender’s avatar, then tap the three-dot menu, and select Add to Contacts.
    • If our email is in Spam or Promotions, tap Move to Inbox.

Apple Mail

  • macOS (Mail App)
    • Open our email.
    • Right-click the sender address and choose Add to Contacts.
    • Open Mail, navigate to Settings, then Junk Mail, and ensure "Sender of message is in my Contacts" is checked under "The following types of messages are exempt from junk mail filtering."
  • iPhone / iPad (Mail App)
    • Open the message from Citylitics.
    • Tap the sender’s name, then tap Add to Contacts, and select Save.
    • If the email was in Junk, tap Move to Inbox.

Step 3: Confirm receipt of our “Inbox delivery test email”


  • Once the above steps are completed kindly let us know and we will be sending our “Inbox delivery test email” to all users in your organization.
  • Upon receiving the email please reply with a brief confirmation such as "Received insights email" to let us know that the email has landed in your inbox, this also signals to your mail system that you trust messages from our address.
  • If you still did not receive the email or if it landed in your spam/junk folders, kindly inform your IT team about this issue and let us know if we need to resend our inbox delivery test
