Exporting Your Priority Insights: Your Data, Your Way

The "Data Export" button is a powerful tool designed to give you greater flexibility and control over your early-stage sales insights. Located conveniently in the top right corner of your "Priority Insights" screen, this feature allows you to quickly download your filtered and sorted data for further analysis, reporting, or integration into other tools.

What Does the "Data Export" Button Do?

When you click the "Data Export" button, the system will:

  1. Capture Your Current View: It exports the first 100 rows of insights that are currently displayed based on any filters or sorters you have applied. This ensures you get the most relevant data you're currently working with.
  2. Generate a CSV File: The data will be compiled into a Comma Separated Values (.CSV) file. This is a universal file format that can be easily opened and manipulated in spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or imported into various databases and business intelligence tools.
  3. Automated Email Delivery: For security and convenience, the generated CSV file will be automatically emailed to the email address associated with your user account. This means your download is secure and accessible directly from your inbox.

When to Use "Data Export":

  • Offline Analysis: Need to analyze insights when you're not online or prefer to work in a spreadsheet environment? Export the data.
  • Custom Reporting: Create your own custom reports or dashboards by pulling specific data points from the CSV.
  • Team Collaboration: Share a snapshot of specific insights with colleagues who may not have direct platform access, or who need to integrate the data into their own spreadsheets.
  • Further Integration: While our direct CRM integrations are recommended for seamless workflows, this provides an alternative for one-off data transfers or for systems not yet integrated.
  • Historical Tracking: Keep a local record of specific insight sets over time for trend analysis.

How to Use the "Data Export" Button:

  1. Navigate to "Priority Insights": Ensure you are on the "Priority Insights" page where you see your list of leads.
  2. Apply Filters & Sorters (Optional but Recommended): Use the "Clear Filters," "Clear Sorters," and individual column filters (Date, State, etc.) to narrow down the insights to exactly what you want to export.
    • Remember: The export will only include the first 100 rows of your filtered results.
  3. Click "Data Export": Locate the "Data Export" button in the top right corner of the screen and click it.
  4. Click “Export Data” on the pop-up that appears.
  5. Check Your Email: The system will process your request, and within a few minutes, you will receive an email containing the CSV file attachment at the email address registered to your user account.

Pro Tip: If you need to export more than 100 rows, consider applying more specific filters to narrow down your results into manageable batches, or contact your Customer Success Manager for assistance with larger data needs.
